こんにちは。ゲイリー・ムーアのアルバムを初めて買いました。しかもレコード盤の方を買ったので、かなり高かったのですが、その分満足度はありました。レビューをいくつか読むと、ゲイリー・ムーア好きのファンからすれば、金太郎飴のように何処を切ってもゲイリー・ムーアらしい音で出来ているアルバムみたいです。つまり同じだということです。でもAC/DCとかもそうですが、同じような曲でも作り続けることで見えてくる境地みたいなものがあって、ゲイリー・ムーアもパッと聴くと、どれも同じに聴こえますが、少し違うだけで許せるのは基本的に音が良いからだと思います。ギターの音は普通の楽曲とかではボーカルの後ろでジャカジャカしていてソロの時に前に出てくるぐらいですが、こういうギタリストの作る楽曲はギターの音がずっと良く聴こえるので好きです。

通して全部聴きました。タイトル通り、ブルースとバラードの詰め合わせアルバムです。バラードの泣きのギターも、ブルースの歪んだギターもあってかなり豪華な印象です。
I listened to everything through it. As the title suggests, it is an assortment of blues and ballads. The ballad's crying guitar and the blues' distorted guitar give it a very luxurious impression.
