こんにちは。パール・ヴァーホーヴェンは「ロボコップ」（1987）とかを撮っている監督らしいです。イザベル・ユペール目当てで観てみましたが、この映画は編集が面白いです。この映画に限ったことではありませんが、映画にはカットが変わった瞬間にその前にあった状況がまるで嘘だったかのような、またはその前の人間と同じ人間とは思えないような、そういう切れ味の鋭い繋ぎ方をすることがあります。この映画にはそれが顕著に表れていて、それによる登場人物の多面性がフランスっぽくもあり、お洒落な感じです。あと僕は時々こういう映画に当たるな、と思いますがエロエロ映画です。何と言葉で言えば良いのか、ピンク映画ではありませんし、メロドラマでもありません。ロマン・ポランスキーの「赤い航路」（1992）に似ています。観ていて思ったのは、登場人物の恋愛関係を追っていくドラマは、心理的なサスペンス効果があって、こいつは嘘をついているけど、それがあいつにいつバレるんだ、というドキドキ感があります。TV画面で過去の自分と現在の自分が対峙するシーンがあって、これは凄い映画だと思いました。撮り方も綺麗ですし、展開もスピーディーに流れて分かりやすい映画でした。

この映画が描きたかったのは特に男女の人付き合いの中にあるやるせない、結局男と女の関係から抜け出せないことのジレンマだと思いました。撮り方とか展開がロマン・ポランスキーと本当によく似ています。それとシニア世代の女性の性問題のようなものも盛り込まれています。
