こんにちは。あけましておめでとうございます。最近は専らPSPで「モンスターハンター3rd」（2010）を楽しく遊んでいます。ですが同時に危機感を覚えています。あまりにも時間が早く過ぎていくからです。本当に溶けるように時間が無くなっていきます。やはりゲームは恐ろしいです。最近谷山浩子を知りました。僕は何故か全くスルーしていたのですが、結構有名な方らしいです。そして熱烈なフォロワーがいます。YouTubeで谷山浩子の曲に乗せてダンスを踊っているチャンネルがあって、よく知らないのですがコンテンポラリーダンスというのか、それを見て何というか不思議な気分になりました。男女の考え方の差というか、僕は男なので絶対こんなことは出来ないししたくも無いのですが、反対に女性から見れば僕のしていることも、例えば今こうやってブログを書いていることとかも、無駄で無意味に見えるのかなと思います。しかもこのチャンネルはかなり編集が凝っていて、そういう意味でも凄いなと思います。昨日色々今年の抱負を考えたのですが、去年の英語を読めるようになる、みたいな抱負も3月くらいでなあなあになってしまったのであまり意味がないのかなと思います。今は久しぶりに何もしたくないような、漫画も映画も音楽もあまり興味が持てない状態になっています。でもまあ時間が解決してくれることだと思います。最近夏目漱石についてまた興味が湧いてきています。元々好きでしたし、何というか国民的な作家でありながら、難解で多彩な作風を持った幅の広い人間だと思います。明治時代の知識人の高等遊民的な教養に対する憧れもあります。僕はこういうときに2ちゃんねる（5ちゃんねる）を見たりします。僕は見たスレッドは2005年くらいのものでしたが、各々が自分の好きな漱石の作品の感想とそれに対してのレスポンスがあり、また時々茶々を入れる人が居たりして楽しく読みました。前にも書きましたが僕はこういう面ではインターネットに対しての信用があって、しかも2005年くらいのインターネットですから本当に好きな人が書いている訳で、多種多様な意見を吸収出来ます。意外だったのは「三四郎」（1908）を好きな人が沢山居たことです。僕も結構好きなのですが、有名な「吾輩は猫である」（1905）とか国語の教科書にも載っている「こころ」（1914）とかは人により評価が分かれていましたが、「三四郎」は一定の人気を得ていました。僕が「三四郎」で印象的だったのは三四郎が野々宮の家で女が自殺する声を聞くシーンです。これについては言及している人が多く、ブログでも見掛けたのでやはり多くの人にとっても衝撃的だったようです。僕も漠然とこのシーンだけは憶えていて、ここで一気に物語に惹き込まれた覚えがあります。実はこういうところが夏目漱石の面白さで、夏目漱石は38歳の時にデビューしていて小説家としてはかなり遅咲きだと思いますが、だからこその膨大な読書量から来る物語の展開は円熟されたものがあります。そういえば司馬遼太郎も36歳で「梟の城」（1958）を書いてデビューしています。

谷山浩子についてもう少し調べてみると、有名というわけでもないようです。これまた熱狂的なファンの方で谷山浩子の全アルバムレビューをされている方がいて、そのブログを読む限りでは永遠の少女性をもった超ベテラン、という印象です。僕が一番初めに聴いたのが「水の中のライオン」（1984）の「人形の家」という曲だったのでそういうアングラっぽい人なのかな、と思いきや同アルバムの中には「キャロットスープの唄」みたいな曲もあって不思議なアルバムだな、と思いました。
