こんにちは。ジェームズ・キャメロンの「ターミネーター2」（1991）はこの映画からかなり影響を受けていると思います。個人的なことで今モンド映画にハマっていることもあり、モンド映画といっても「デスファイル」（1989）とかですが、それに比べれば映画の中の作り物なんて全然残虐ではないというか、如何に現実が恐ろしいのか、ということを叩き付けられる気持ちです。「ロボコップ」（1987）は何故か僕も昔から好きで、映像のセンスが良いのか、話の展開も分かりやすく復讐譚になっているところも好きです。映画の中にかなりのアイデアが詰まっていて、ロボットのアイデンティティの話とか、フランケンシュタイン・コンプレックスというのか、創造主に機械が逆らうシーンもあります。ストップモーションアニメが時代を感じます。この映画のラストのあの工場の池のような場所はうろ覚えですがドン・シーゲルの「ダーティハリー」（1971）のラストシーンに似ている気がします。
hello. I think James Cameron's "Terminator 2" (1991) was heavily influenced by this movie. Personally, I'm addicted to Mondo movies, and even though I'm talking about Mondo movies, it's like "Death File" (1989). I feel like I'm being hit by the fact that reality is terrifying. For some reason I've always liked "RoboCop" (1987), and I also like how the story unfolds and becomes a revenge tale, perhaps because the visual sense is good. There are quite a few ideas in the movie, and there are scenes where machines defy their creators, such as the story of the robot's identity or the Frankenstein complex. Stop motion animation feels the times. I vaguely remember the factory pond-like place at the end of this movie, but I feel like it resembles the last scene of Don Siegel's "Dirty Harry" (1971).
