こんにちは。主人公のセルマ（ビョーク）の歌声がとにかく良いです。所謂美声でもないのですが、鳥肌が立つような凄い声を持っています。分かりました、あの少し震えた歌声が良いのです。YouTubeにサウンドトラックがあって、良く聴いていますが生活音から音楽が展開していくのが見事です。「I've Seen It All」が和訳と音楽共に一番好きです。この映画では「ドグマ95」というデンマークの映像作家たちが提唱した表現方法がとられています。具体的にいうと自然光、ハンディカムの映像、ナレーションや音楽を使わない、撮影セットを使わないなどです。しかしそれらを破るのがミュージカルシーンです。この緩急が映画を面白くしています。それまでハンディカムのブレた映像だったものがフィックスの固定された映像に変わり、セルマの歌声と音楽が掛かる瞬間は素晴らしいです。僕が好きなのはビル（デヴィッド・モース）のキャラクターで、八方塞がりの人間をよく捉えていると思います。ミュージカルシーンで死んだビルが甦るのは映画の禁じ手を鮮やかに潜り抜けたと思いました。とここまで書きましたが、少し過剰に悲劇的過ぎることも否めません。黒沢清がこの映画を批判していますが、他の方のブログを読むとこの映画はどうやら賞を取るために作られた映画のようですね。真意は分かりませんが、表現のあざとさを分かりつつも感動してしまうことは確かです。
