こんにちは。面白かったです。前に観た「DOORⅢ」（1996）と似たB級映画に対する愛が感じられる作品でした。そして「DOORⅢ」の主人公が会社の中でバリバリ働くキャリアウーマンなのに対して、この「地獄の警備員」（1992）の主人公は新しい会社に入った新入社員で、その異世界ともいえる環境の中で戸惑う様子を魅力的なロケーションと共に映像にしています。舞台となる会社の十二課という部署は画商のようなことをしていて、社内に飾ってある絵は僕が観る限りフランシスコ・デ・ゴヤの「裸のマハ」や「我が子を食らうサトゥルヌス」などゴヤで統一されていました。黒沢清の登場人物の仕草の切り取り方が凄く好きです。女性を綺麗に撮れる才能もありますが、何気ない仕草なども映画的でとても惹きつけられます。また映画を通して男性の無能さ、みたいなものも感じました。エレベーターの前のシーンで主人公以外が全て男性で主人公だけが乗れずに取り残されるシーンのあと、地下室で明らかに違和感のある配管工の女性とのシーンがあります。ここで感じるのは配管工という男性の役割を溌剌に果たす女性で、またそこに微かな友情のようなものも芽生えたりして、とても良いシーンです。ラストの警察の描き方も警官が欠伸をしていたり、全て事件が終わったあとに到着する無能さを感じます。

何と行ってもこの映画の白眉は怪物富士丸（松重豊）の造形と暴力描写にあります。富士丸の初登場シーンは車内でラジオを聴いている手元だけのショットですが、薄汚れた黄色の革の手袋が何とも異様な雰囲気を醸し出しています。警備の間宮、奇しくも「CURE」（1997）と同じ名前ですが、間宮と富士丸の関係は、「予兆」（2017）のガイドのようなもので、始めから終わりが見えているような危険な関係です。黒沢清の暴力描写は敢えて文章化するならねっとりしています。「カリスマ」（1999）にもあったゆっくりとした動きで重いものを人間にぶつけるのが好きみたいです。効果音もいわゆる人を殴るときによく使われる音ではなく、もっと無機質な感じの音を使っていて、ミスマッチ感覚が気持ち悪さを増しています。富士丸の台詞はとても抽象的なもので、幅広い解釈が出来るような言葉を選んでいる感じがします。また主人公と富士丸がお互いを認識して会うのは実は映画の終盤です。これも同じ怪物映画の「DOORⅢ」と比較すると、かなり違っていて面白いです。この「地獄の警備員」と「DOORⅢ」は黒沢清の中にある怪物映画のフォーマットの裏表なのかもしれません。それくらい2つの映画には共通点が多く、「地獄の警備員」のラストの画面から消えていく主人公が何年か経って「DOORⅢ」の主人公に成長していると考えると、かなり辻褄が合います。
