こんにちは。最近「ドラゴンボール」(1984)にハマっていて、その流れで観ました。ドラゴンボールの劇場作品は沢山ありますが、僕はこの頃の丁度90年代後半くらい絵のタッチが凄く好きです。何よりアニメーターがノリノリなのが画面越しにもわかります。それ故に映像のイメージが先行し過ぎていて、話が散漫な印象も受けますが、いやドラゴンボールはそれで良いのだと思い直しました。ドラゴンボールの絵についてもう少し書くと鳥山明の初期の頃のまだ「DRスランプ」(1980)の名残があった丸みのある可愛らしい線も凄く好きなのですが、魔人ブウ編くらいの終盤に差し掛かったころの線に無駄が一切なく、硬質で格好良い絵柄も好きです。長さも51分とコンパクトでそれも良かったです。ジャネンバのデザインは色使いも含めて格好良いです。悟空とベジータが針の山の中でフュージョンするかしないかで揉めているところが、どう見ても男女の恋愛のような感じで演出されていて、少し面白かったです。フュージョン、というのはそういう意味なのかと疑ってしまいます。ゴジータのデザインはゴテンクスの服に、髪の生え際はべジットと違いベジータのV字になっています。僕はやはり今見ても超サイヤ人は格好良いと思ってしまいます。いくつになってもそう思うのでしょうか。
