こんにちは。初めてソフィア・コッポラを観ました。この人は調べてみると「ゴッドファーザー」（1972）で有名な映画監督フランシス・フォード・コッポラの娘です。本編中にもアル・パチーノの名前が出ていて、おおっと思いました。全編通してアッバス・キアロスタミっぽいな、と思いました。ドキュメンタリーに近い撮り方もそうですし、フィックスの多用、そして単調な長回しの使い方も似ています。オープニングの車が走るのを繰り返す映像はこの映画がどういう映画なのかを分かりやすく説明してくれていて、ある程度覚悟を持って観ることが出来ました。出てくる女性が皆嘘のように主人公と関係を持ち、まるで男の妄想の世界のような感じもしました。そして娘役のエル・ファニングが可愛いです。他の方の感想で都会でフェラーリに乗りながら豪華な生活を送る孤独、といわれてもピンと来ない、というのがあって確かにそうだと思いました。もしかしたらこの映画の主人公の造形は同じく映画界を生きている父親であるフランシス・フォード・コッポラを幼い時から見てきた娘であるソフィア・コッポラの自伝的な作品かも知れません。
hello. I saw Sofia Coppola for the first time. This person is the daughter of Francis Ford Coppola, a movie director famous for "The Godfather" (1972). The name of Al Pacino appears in the main story, and I was surprised. Throughout the whole story, I thought it was like Abbas Kiarostami. It's similar to how to shoot a documentary, how to use a lot of fixes, and how to use a monotonous long take.The video of the opening car running repeatedly explained what this movie was like in an easy-to-understand manner, and I was able to watch it with some preparedness. All the women who came out had a relationship with the main character like a lie, and it felt like a man's delusional world. And Elle Fanning, who plays the role of a daughter, is cute.
I think that's true because other people's impressions are that the loneliness of living a luxurious life while riding a Ferrari in the city does not come to mind. Perhaps the main character of this movie is an autobiographical work of Sofia Coppola, a daughter who has seen Francis Ford Coppola, a father who also lives in the movie world, from an early age.
