こんにちは。漫画が最近捗っています。というのも描いている自分の姿を撮影するようになったからです。側から見れば理解不能な行動ですが、なんというか撮影することにより、存在しない第三者の目を意識して、やる気が出ることがわかったからです。これは図書館に行く理由と同じで、人間1人だとどうしても怠けてしまいますが、他人の存在があることで、実力の120%が出せるわけです。そういう謎理論で今日まで描けているので、まあそんなことでモチベーションが保てるならいくらでもやります。
ロシアとウクライナのニュースが連日報道されています。国際情勢に疎い僕も流石にこれは調べなければいけない、と思い原因について調べてみると、どうやらロシアの一方的な侵攻だけがフォーカスされがちですが、原因はもっと根深くロシアとウクライナの歴史的背景が密接に関係しているようです。詳しくは僕も分かりませんが、ミンスク合意、というものがキーワードのようです。勿論どんな理由であっても武力行使の解決は駄目だと思いますが、この国際社会の中でロシアが他の国の非難をある程度覚悟してまでもこの判断に踏み切ったことが意外です。ましてやこのようなご時世の時にです。既に色々な国が制裁として映画の上映を中止したり、輸入を止めたりしています。ニュース映像でロシアで反戦デモを行った人々が軍隊に拘束されている映像がありました。そういう状況の中での人々の心理状態はどうなっているのでしょう。例えば僕の場合で考えると日本が他の国に軍事侵攻して世界的に避難されている、と考えると僕はちゃんとそういうデモに参加するかどうか、正直分かりません。かつても日本ではそういう状況がありました。戦争を否定するものは非国民、と呼ばれて集団から除け者にされてしまうのです。なんかとっ散らかってきたのでこの辺で終わります。戦争を身近に感じた最近の出来事でした。
