こんにちは。前からずっと欲しかったものでした。高野文子は時代ごとに全く絵柄が変わっていくのが特徴です。この作品の絵の場合は恐らく資料をあまり見ずに極力頭の中の世界を映し取った感じでしょうか。巻末にも説明がありますが、この作品で引用されている本にはちゃんと原作があります。ロジェ・マルタン・デュ・ガールの「チボー家の人々」（1922）という本です。僕は読んだことがありませんが、知らなくても大丈夫な作りになっています。実は一度通して読んだ後インターネットで感想を調べてやっとこの作品を理解できました。「いつだって最終回」というブログの方の感想が一番良かったです。漫画を読む行為が一種のストーキングだという解釈は確かに納得できます。高野文子の特徴としてトーンを使うのが上手いということがあります。この作品でもトーンが至る所に使われていて、ラフなイラストにリアルな陰影が付けられているミスマッチ感覚が良かったです。高野文子の作品が持つ独特な雰囲気はやはりコマのカメラアングルのセンスが変わっているからだと思います。そして内語の使い方も面白いです。普通内語を使うのは演出として感動させたい時などに使いますが高野文子の場合は敢えてそういう言葉を避けている感じがします。本人にそういう気があるのかはわかりませんが、僕はいわゆる大衆漫画に向けたアンチテーゼを感じました。絵柄はつげ義春と松本大洋に似ています。こういうヘタウマの漫画は単に芸術志向という意味合いだけでなく、この本を手に取る人間を篩にかけているのだと思います。寡作で知られる高野文子ですが、絵柄を変え続けることも創作を続けていくための方法なんだと思います。昔のように描けない訳ではなくて、こういう風に描くことで自身のクリエティビティを保っているのでしょう。
