こんにちは。今衝動的にこれを書いています。YouTubeで良い音楽を見つけたからです。しかもインターネットで調べてもまだ全然知られていないようで、僕が自分で発掘した感覚があります。「PANDA GOLFF」というバンドです。聴いた瞬間に、失礼かもしれませんがゆらゆら帝国の女性版だ、と思いました。しかし音作りや歌詞の雰囲気が似てはいますが、真似している訳ではなく、恐らく日本語でこういう音楽を作ろうとすると、必然的に辿る道だからこそ似てしまったのだと思われます。今聴きながら書いていますが、ゆらゆら帝国にも似ているし、坂本慎太郎が影響を受けているCANにも似ています。こういう音楽のジャンルの名前を調べてみると、ネオサイケデリック、というジャンルみたいです。簡単にいうと、明るいアングラという感じですね。最近こういう音楽を聴いていなかったことも関係していますが、女性でこういう感性を持って音楽を作っている人が居ることにとても驚きました。ライブも幾つか観ましたが、かなり良いです。この「PANDA GOLFF」のボーカルのmachikoと「Ooveen」というバンドのeryという人が一緒に撮ったジミ・ヘンドリックスの「purple haze」のカバーも素晴らしかったです。こういう音楽は本当にコアなファンにしか受け入れられないとは思いますが、だからこそ良いのかもしれません。というか繰り返しますが、女性でこういう音楽を作っていることが格好良いです。
